Engine hood issue after suspension upgrade

I probably just need to be educated on suspensions. I had a local ford dealership install the Mustang Ford Racing Handling Pack (http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...t_detail&p=152). I went to pick up the car after hours and noticed the engine hood was not fully closed. If I remove the midwest autogear strut tower caps the engine hood closes. If I put them back on they push up on the engine hood about 1\2 inch or more. They appear to be sitting flush to the strut towner when the engine hood is open. Any idea what is causing this?

Thanks,

Gary

Subscribed. About to have that same pack installed and interested in a solution. Don't want to lose my MWAG strut tower covers if I don't have to.

Sorry I don't have any info to help...

Turns out the ford tech put the caps on the wrong side. Since it was a torrential down pour yesterday I did not notice. Swapped so the dimple is towards the side of the car and the hood closed without issue. So much for my troubleshooting skills on minor things.

No worries Gary - we've all been there. Thanks for the update and glad to hear the covers will still work with this pack.

You beat me to the punch. I've done the same thing myself. Note to all, if in doubt look on the underside, there's a D or P.
