Eibach "Bad Batch Warning"
#1
In case this has not been posted.
If you decide to go with the Eibach Pro-Kit make sure you get a good set. They had some issues with a batch that had to be recalled because they were making a creaking noise. Make sure the spring does not have number "145393" stamped in the coil. I ordered a set of springs from Dallas Mustang and this is the info they gave me. They were not going to get a good set in for a couple of weeks so I ordered from Maximum Motorsports out in California. They confirmed the same info. He actually had a couple of good sets and more on the way.

Thanks. Where can I find the stamp once they have been installed?

The box is history in Cali. What if I've got no creaking noise? Should I be worried?

Per my telephone conversation with a rep at Steeda, Eibach and Steeda both made their early springs with the incorrect pig-tail position. Had something to do with the way the pig-tail rests on the mount...made a popping sound.
That'a why I had to wait two months for my Steeda spings!
But I am getting mine this week, thank God!
Hope that helps.

Also, call Steeda if your spings are on backorder. You may get your springs quicker if you get your name on a set before someone else. It almost sounds as if they still don't have enough in stock for everyone.
