Finally a triangulated strut tower brace. Seems most previous year's braces were built this way, but this is the first one I've seen for the 05+.

I def want that strut tower brace!! I'm gonna wait and see about those lower control arms and see what pricing is gonna be on them, BMR ones look nice and RPM Outlet has them for $110 bucks, we'll see how they are.

BMR fabrication makes them. I just got mine the other day in red powdercoat. It looks great.

I don't understand why companies continue to make shorty headers for mod motors  Haven't many folks on here (not that we're the be-all/end-all of Mustang modifiers ) discovered that the time and effort involved in installing shorties wasn't worth the minimal gains? Long tubes are much more beneficial (though more expensive) for both hp and tq, and from what I've read on here much easier to install on the S197 compared to an SN95

I am interested in the upper/lower control arms. But depends on cost. Anyone know when the '06 catalog is available?

On the shortie headers comment, because some us mustang owners buy them and are not interested in long tubes for various reasons. I am sure I could ask a lot of questions regarding many of the parts people buy and display proudly on this site. To each his own where and how they spend their money.

Uh, I wasn't condemning anyone who has shorty headers in any way. I agree that how a person spends his or her money is their own business. Not directed at anyone in particular, but go ahead ignore my post since it's worthless any way

a lot of us use shorties so that we can keep the factory warranty.....or atleast thats what i plan to do. I think someone recently just got a 12hp gain or so out of some jba shorties?

There are plenty of reasons to get shorties over longtubes. Emissions requirements, annual state inspections, donkey donut dealership service dept's, turbo installation..

Hey, they certainly look a lot better than the rusty cast iron manifolds that's for sure.

Hey, don't forget the stock manifolds make great strawberry planters!

Will this strut tower brace fit over the MidWest Auto Gear plenum cover?

Anyone know for sure if there is a difference in how well a triangular strut brace(one that also attaches to the firewall) performs compared to a straight one that just connects the two strut towers? I would assume that the third attachment point of the triangular one makes it that much stiffer but I hate assuming and would like a little confirmation from peeps in the know. Thanks

Anybody know if just adding "Shortys" will increase the loudness factor?

It won't cause a DRONE, will it?

Would it be "axle-back" loud or less?
