+1 on the no retune. I don't know anything about the computer being out of whack either. Just install and go!
ONE WARNING:
Do *NOT* use the crappy muffler clamps that come with the Flowmasters. Go to any auto parts store and pick up a set of $2 saddle clamps.
If you don't do this you'll be sorry! I messed around with those idiot Flowmaster clamps for a year, and they kept loosening up and rattling. Tossed them in a dumpster and with the saddle clamps I have had ZERO trouble.
You'll love them! Even the techs at Saleen complimented me on the sound of my exhaust.

Personally, I hate saddle clamps since they don't give an even clamp all the way around. There really isn't any pressure on the sides of the "U". They'll hold tight, but don't overtighten them or they could cause a leak.
I used the clamps that came with the flows since they are designed to clamp around the full 360 degrees. I put half of the clamp on one side of the nipple as shown in the first pic. You can see that I didn't do that at first (from the missing paint), but I then moved them to where the pics show now. There are zero leaks and they are impossible to pull off because of the clamp against the nipple.

Aren't the Flowmaster mufflers made of aluminized steel with some black paint/coating? Speaking from experience in salty states, I'd go no less than T-409 stainless steel (OEM-quality) and would recommend T-304 SS for longevity. Of course, your plans may be different.

I've had the saddle clamps on now for several months and I am extremely happy.

Do I need to retune?
