According to UPS tracking, I'll have my 1-3/4" stainless steel Dynatech LT headers and catted X-pipe in time to install this weekend!

Have any of you here already installed them?
What kind of problems (if any) did you run into?
Was it necessary to remove the starter and/or motor mounts, and did you have to loosen and shift the steering column/linkage?
Any other words of advice for the install (tips/tricks/traps)?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, guys. I'll be sure to provide some feedback after the install!

p.s., I'd still like to hear if anyone else here has these headers. It's hard to believe I would be the first!

Thats the price Ive seen them at also, right around 1200. Just as pictured above.

Since Im not going the Kooks way...Now Im leaning this way. Im liking the sound of the 1 3/4 primaries more and more.Would be more beneficial with the big bore, and the added cubes for sure..
I like the 4 bolt flange @ the collector, and the craftmanship looks great.

Don, I could have sworn there were a few others here running Dynatech...hmm

Just curious Don, you got a KB on the way so I figured you'd get shorties, what gives?

Why would I get shorties with a blower?

You should breath better with the long tubes but everything I've read on here, it seems like sticking with shorties on a S/C was the way to go. Didn't make much since when I first heard about it but just seems like that was the norm.

I don't have anything to back it up, just from what I've read

Interesting... I have read just the opposite... 1-3/4" LTs are the way to go with superchargers.

way to go DON!!!!! Those I have been looking at forever but I dont have the money to spend on them. My friend had a set of Dynatech longtubes on his dodge 2005 Hemi pickup and they made a huge difference. The craftsmanship is great. I give them 2 thumbs up!!! But I cant do much to my car right now since I got rearended on last wednesday before Christmas. I just got my Mezere H20 Pump in the mail the day after I got slammed. But I still drive it. It just did a lot of body damage. PIssed me off. But yeah with a S/C long tubes all the way because you want it to breathe!!!!! Shorties are good for Turbo because of the crazy piping that you have to do.

Please... no hate or envy. LOL

I'm looking for 7.60s (or better) in the 1/8, and high 11s in the 1/4. I won't need a roll bar unless I get down below 11.49 (which I won't).

Not those but JBA LTs require you to remove the steering shaft and the starter so you might as well do it first to stop any confusion. I hope you have access to a lift because if not then get the highest floor jack you can with JACK STANDS!! Please dont make us hear about a guy in Cali whose new Mustang fell on him
