Dropped the hammer on some NAWZ!

Yeah, I hate that term (nawz) too. But I think it's funny, in a "slow and the curious" sort of way.

I got the Dyno Tune 75-150 kit ordered. Comes with the adapter for the fuel rail, bottle heater, Master Blaster purge kit, and two stage RPM window/TPS switch. I'm thinking of going ahead and getting the remote bottle opener and a fuel pressure and nitrous pressure gauge with the SOS gauge pod.

I plan on starting with the 75 shot with a new dyno tune from Doug.

Next will be new plugs, bigger fuel pump, and a bigger shot.
Not sure on which plugs to get, and the new shelby 500 pump is having some issues with a $400 wiring harness (or something like that.)

Anybody have any recommendations, does, don'ts? This will be my first experience with nitrous, but I'm looking forward to having some fun with it... until I blow something up.

I'd get the car tuned locally for nitrous.

Doug is local to me, I go up to B'ham all the time, all my family lives around there.

I'll the get the HT0 plugs, Don, and gauges on the way.

Thanks for the offer on the remote opener, Jay, but I already ordered the Dyno Tune one and the billet bracket.

Mike, the opener just lets you open the bottle from the seat. Of course, you could just open the trunk and twist the valve. I just wanted to be able to arm the system, purge it, turn the heater on/off, and open the bottle from the cockpit. That way I could use all the switches on this switch center:

http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...p?idproduct=88

I kind of like that switch center, everything is there in a nice compact space, and fits in a gauge pod. But, 150 is a LOT for four little toggle switches and some LED's. Anybody else have a suggestions for switches? How about the two empty rectangles in the air condition buttons next to the AC and Recirc buttons. Anybody tried to put switches in there?

Congrats Hatch, I am in the middle of the Zex kit install. Working on getting my fuel adapter setup for a fuel pressure gauge and the Nitrous. Brent will be tuning mine hopefully the week of the 4th. Going to stay with the 75 shot for a while. E-mailed Brent, Dyno Tune time set for 1:00 PM Wednesday July 5.

Jay, what was the deal on the opener I might be interested?

Oh, one more thing I am so glad you didn't say pulled the trigger.

Congrats Ben! Let me know when your car is at Brenspeed, I'd like to come up and see it!

That's great, Ben! I'm going to try and be happy with just the 75 shot for now as well.

What kind of gauges and pod are you doing with?
I'm getting the Autometer Ultra-Lite Nitrous and Fuel Pressure in the SOS pod.

I got the SOS Pod also, w/raptor claw. I want a Raptor shift light. The one I didn't like when I went to the track was looking down to read the tach. I went ahead and splurged for the Nexus. I went with Fuel Pressure and Oil Pressure. If the Oil proves to much trouble to hook up, I may see about sending it back and pick up the Wideband A/F later. I put a gauge on the bottle. I promised my wife after this set of mods. I would cool it for awhile. She said yea right you are addicted.

Yeah, I always tell myself I'm happy with the car as it is, and that I'm done. But it just never stops.
I might put one on the bottle as well, the one on the bottle only costs 25 bucks, while the electric Autometer one is 200. Might as well throw it back there so I can check it before I ride and see what I have before I arm the system if I want to.

Yeah, that's a joke too, it's a quote from the movie "Zoolander", "a school for kids who can't read good".

The fast one's keep going over your head.
