i have a 2005 mustang gt that has a thrumming noise or drone between 60mph and 70 mph, could this be a motor mount, driveshaft or the rear end.it had this noise since i received it new over here in germany thru the px, don't want to take the car to a dealer yet and have them trying to guess what this is, since this is not a car the ford dealers here in germany are familair with. any idea's??? also had a similair noise on my 87 gt drove it that way for 300000 miles, still did not care for the noise.

I've got it, but mine happens right at 70mph (2300 rpms) exactly. I find it really easy to drive around as I'm either going much faster or much slower than that. I'm not taking mine in for it, they'd just be guessing and it doesn't really bother me

First guess would be the driveshaft was not reinstalled in it's balanced position. The position of the driveshaft should have been marked before it was removed.
