draglite and nitrous question

Does anyone know if 15x10 draglites with 5.5 back spacing will fit on the rear of an 07 mustang. I already know I'm gonna have to use a rear sway bar relocation kit, I'm just wondering if it will fit with that back spacing or if Im gonna have to get some spacers. I'm also curious if there are many people running a zex kit and a 125 shot with a stock bottom end, just wondering if it will hold up.

If those are standard Draglites (i.e., non-XPs), you will have issues with the calipers. And even without spacers, they will stick out past the fender lip about 1.5". So, once you add spacers you're probably looking at between 2"-3" outside. Oh, and you'll most likely need to get longer studs as well.

Stock fuel pump isn't enough for a 125 shot. 100 is the limit on the stock fuel system.

does weld racing still make those? I can't find them on their website or on jegs? I was hoping to run the same slicks on two different vehicles. I'm trying to get some parts together for the mega ford weekend at mission raceway in September. If I was to put in a gt500 fuel pump would that work then? and would the bottom end still be fine? Thanks for the help guys!

Should work fine with the GT500 pump. Bottom end should be ok with HT0 spark plugs.

No, the XPs are discontinued. You have to find a "pre-owned" set. If you do, the optimum size is 15x9, 5.5"bs (and even then they will stick out a little). I'm running a 28x10.50-15 M/T slick on mine. Another option is Bogarts... but be prepared to pay at least twice the price of the Welds.

The stock bottom end will do fine with the 125 shot as long as you:
1) run the Ht0 plugs, you can retain the stock gap of .045--I didn't gap mine down to .035 until I ran the 150 shot
2) run the best gas you can--cheap insurance for the plugs and pistons. I used to run straight 100 octane on the 150 shot.
3) confirm your a/f on the dyno or wideband (if you have one). To get a 11.5/1 air fuel ratio I had to run a fuel jet .003 larger then the table called for.
4) I would also have your tuner tune for the 125 shot, and monitor the knock sensors to adjust timing accordingly.
5) fuel system upgrade of some kind--I used a BAP.

Below are some pics I took when I tore down my motor after 60K miles and about 175 nitrous passes at the track. Notice how thin the top of the piston is to the first ring-land. That is why you should use the best gas you can get so your pistons survive.

a 175 shot (motor) can be handled with the right tune and mods even on a stock fuel pump.

Got dyno graphs to prove? My fuel pump is running at max to run the 100 shot so unless you have a magic pump from the factory, it isn't happening.

Yes, I ran the stock pump with a BAP, although I still had the factory stock fuel lines and rails....

Stock pump + BAP does not equal stock fuel system.

He didn't say stock fuel system, he said stock fuel pump.

Well thanks to a BAP almost anything is possible on the stock pump. So saying you can do X on the stock pump really doesn't mean anything and can easily be misinterpreted. That's why I've been careful and have been talking about fuel SYSTEMS. You could really consider a BAP to not be a stock fuel pump...

Lots of guys are running them, but I have heard of a couple failures. I went to Mosers at the same time the TruTrac went it.
