hey everyone, ok i have a 430$ budget. I can either get an SCT Xcal2 tune witch will be about 390-400 bucks. Thats about all of it :bang: OR i can get an H-pipe, and some underdrive pullies. Or maybe some other things i dunno. SO what should i fo go for the SCT Xcal2 or get the two deals? I already have An Airaid intake, and slp loumouth exhaust. I dont know what to do

Gears? Though your speedo would be off until you had it re-calibrated

wow i never new the tuner was going to give me all this hype. I guess i dont really know what its capable of. I do know that MD motorsports is making a custom tune for the XCAL2 with the AirAid intake. Im waiting for that. SO...tuner huh?

Gears would be a close second IMO, also worth the money when the money's available to ya. See, you wanted to know how to spend $400 bucks and we can spend it faster than you can imagine it, (let alone make it)!

Yes and they just finished it yesterday. I spoke with Ken at MD, and he will be sending my Airaid back today, and I should have the tuner by next week. Originally he said he was noticing a noisy signal with the MAF when the Venturi was out, but he went back and compared to the other pipes, and then said they were similar. I think he said results with the Airaid were similar to the other pipes out there. Ken seems like a nice guy, I spoke with him for the first time today, rather than E-mails, and since he had my Airaid for a few weeks, and for letting him use it for testing, He discounted my Xcal 2. Can't beat that. Looking forward to next week. Just put in 91 octane today, to start cleaning out the 87 in anticipation of the tune. then its time for gears. Also he told me that they were doing a test for one of the mags with a set of Fox Lake heads (Not sure if they are new castings, or just ported stockers). Did not give me any other info than that, other than when they had the car, they tried the Airaid also. Could be an expensive 2006, with LT's, Heads, cams, and gears in my future. I decided I want to go the N/A route. Hoping for an "Honest" 350 RWHP on pump gas.
