If i remember correctly, some axle back kits resulted in a loss of hp.

as I said in previous posts, from Flowmaster, they said that not resetting your computer will result in loss of power. When I installed mine and let the computer reset, I noticed a def increase, and when i go to the dyno this week, I'll know for sure and I will post the dyno sheets

I never dyno'ed my Magnaflow axleback, but I could swear I felt a difference after installing them. Of course, that could be my imagination. Maybe since it got louder, my mind related that with it getting faster. But you don't buy an axleback for performance. You buy it for sound and for looks. One of the ugliest things on the GT IMO is the factory tips.

i did a stock run already, i installed the K&N aircharger, so I know Im guarantee 15 horses right there, so whatever I get from the new dyno number and subtract the stock pull and 15 and get the total for the flowmasters. I disconnected the negative battery cable for at least an hr cause thats how long it took to get the exhaust on.....

I think you only need to let it sit for 5 minutes. But it's as easy as diconnecting the negative from the battery.

Disconnecting the battery will not disable your tune. I believe it just lets the computer reset certain parameters and helps the car to recognize minor modifications that do not require a tune, like an axleback or a new air filter. It's like rebooting you home PC after installing a game or program. It's not always necessary, but will usually help to make that game or program run better.
It doesn't exactly work that way. Adding individual modifications together are not going to get you their individual gains. If you add the K&N seperately, it might get you 15HP. An axleback may get you 5HP, pulleys 10HP, and some headers 15HP added seperately. If you add them all together, you aren't going to get 45HP. More like 35-40. So, with that said, your calculation of subtracting the 15HP will not be completely accurate. Unless you can do an actual dyno before and after adding only the axleback, I wouldn't go around saying that the exhaust added a certain amount of HP based on the K&N. And to be honest, with a gain that will be very minimal like with an axleback, the dyno numbers still won't be 100% accurate unless the car is the exact same temperature and under the exact same conditions during both runs.
