A friend of mine put headers and x-pipe (no cats and SLP's) and needs to turn his off but doesn't have internet. I said I would ask for him. I did email Diablo Tuesday but I haven't heard from them yet. I also have the Diablo programmer but I have never seen the option. Perhaps one of you know how. It does say that it is supposed to do it on their site.

For what it's worth the car sounds real bad... (I don't like it). I hope he doesn't go to the library and read this!

The option to disable it is under the "Modify Tune" Option.. Located in the OBDII submenu... In there you will see the options, and can select disable..

Let me go look at it and make sure the exact location is correct stand by!..

Ok thats correct.. Its the first option in the OBDII Submenu.. Set it to disabled..

GOTO

1.Performance Tune

2.Select (Default) or (Custom) tune

3.Select the tune in the list

4. Selcet Modify Parameters

5.Agree to all that is asked

6.Scroll down to the OBDII section

7.The first option deals with the CATS.. Dsiable it!

Thank you for all your help! Screen captures even! Can't beat that kind of help. Thank you.

Don, Yep! gawd aweful sound. He got on it real good when he left and it sounded like a car I had years ago with glass packs and long tubes behind them. Iused to think it was kinda cool sounding then BUT it sure is not suited to the S197 at all.

I sold him the C&L intake and Predator off my wifes car a few months ago. That's why I got involved.......

Thanks again guys,
Russ
