Delete plates richened my exhaust note

Most of you know I'm the crazy guy that drives around with an offroad H, SLP LMs and 12" resonators. I like it a lot but my biggest complaint was that if I coasted, especially coasting down a hill while in low gear, the car would sound like chitty chitty bang bang with a rapid fire succession of pops and crackles. Also even with the resonators I was getting very slight trumpets. Anybody with this combo running N/A knows what I am talking about. At the time I was running Doug's 87 tune

I finally installed my FRPP charge motion delete plates with an updated tune from Doug. All the snap crackle pops from the exhaust are now gone, as well as any remnants of trumpeting. The overall quality of the sound has gone up a few notches and is more rich and deep.

This is all an unexpected benefit for installing delete plates. Not to mention the more power I can feel at the top end.

I know what you're talking about. I get the same popping/cracking sound on decel.

On my last dyno run, my A/F was on the money. So, I think it's just the nature of the beast.

Question for anyone with CMDP's

Do you feel more power at top end then before install?

Do you feel less power at low end then before install?
