D-Spec's with Roush Springs? Is this a good idea? What do you think? I've gotta decide this weekend.

Get the Roush struts and springs. You won't be sorry!

Unless you're dead set on the D-Specs, I also recommend going with the Roush set-up. The Roush components were engineered to work together.

I like the Roush stuff, but the BMR pieces you were looking for in your last thread or even the BMR handling pack you discussed will kick ***!

After a great deal of thought, this is now what I have in mind:
BMR Front & Rear Sway Bars
BMR Adj. Panhard Bar w/Support Brace
Roush Front & Rear Springs
Roush Front Struts & Rear Shocks
By going with BMR Sway Bars instead of the ones that come in the Roush Complete Suspension Kit, I save $200.53! What is odd is by pricing out individual items in the kit, the total comes to $1,350.54, or $117.71 more. I know they were designed to work together, but is it really going to be a problem if another companies sway bars are used with their springs and struts/shocks?

Jon - I have the Roush struts, shocks and springs. I bought the BMR adjustable panhard bar and left the stock front and rear sway bars alone. Don't overkill, you can always buy sway bars later. JMO~

I'd say go for the D-Specs. They have been great for me both on the track and the street. The adjustability is a great feature.

You can interchange any parts you want. If you're set on the roush springs, struts, and shocks go with that! Your package you just listed is killer handling!

The D-specs work great with any lowering spring. The range of adjustibilty
allows you to dial in your ride/handling preference. Previously, I
installed the complete Saleen suspension kit and was disappointed in the ride -- not because it was too stiff but because it was unsettled and felt
like the rear would bounce back up after compression. I installed the
d-specs based on a thread on MustangForums.com and couldn't be happier with he transformation these Shock/Struts can make. I set the fronts (3) turns out from full stiff and the rears slightly softer at (4) turns out. The car now rides better than stock and handles better too.

I highly recommend the Tokico D-specs!

05SatinGT: loved the little review and it almost got me set on the Tokico's.
that was all up untill the conclusion was drawn: "the car now rides better than stock"

umm... that's it?

guess i'm still undecided at this point

I dont think you can go wrong with any lowering springs and dampers as long as you get a name brand.

Why not just go with FRPP Sways and Springs? You can get both items very cheap. They are designed to work with one another, unlike the combo that you posted above.

You really can't go wrong with any of the items listed here.

Look into whichever setup you can get a great deal on, and which one you feel has the best buzz quality-wise. I know personally Steeda ultralites and D specs have been the hot setup lately, and that's what I would run. In conjunction with some sway bars, panhard bar and brace.

It's all up to which items you feel will work best with each other for your budget and your car!

BMR, Steeda, FRPP, Eibach, Tokico, and Roush are all going to be great additions to your vehicle's ride.
