I called twice to the number on his signature and both times someone anwsered and when i asked for Chris Rose the man said "He does not work here anymore". If anyone that lives near the shop that can verify this please do. Otherwise i am in need of a new tuner.

 

I heard this yesterday as a rumor from a guy that deals with CR a bunch and Chris Tillman told him that CR was still there part time for awhile. But it sure seems something is up.

 

VERIFIED he does not work for Tillman Speed anymore he works for Bamachips over at American muscle now and since i have an old account with Bamachips i do not need a new tuner. Happy Days

Wonder what this means for people still getting tune updates from TillmanSpeed? I was working with Chris on diagnosing pinging on my 91 all out tune.

Perfect imo. AM has great customer service, fast shipping and now have two of the best tuners. Dougs tune has wicked throttle response that i could never seem to get out of my brenspeed or tillman tunes. Yet CR's tune has that mid/ top end response that bama didnt. Combined knowledge will be insane.

 

Doug does not work for AM they just bought his customer base & name. Doug is a Ford mechanic right now.

Not at all. I am 10 minutes from tillmans & 30 minutes from AM. CR is working for AM, but Doug does not. It is a big marketing scam by AM.

 

as long as CR is tuning my car i am fine with whatever AM does.

 

Hopefully AM's customer service doesn't suffer like Tillmanspeed's does...

 

I bought my tuner off bama when he was solely on bamachips, can I still get updates for my tunes from AM?

on AM for the free tune updates it says enter a member ID? from where? lol

 

Chris was fast to charge your credit card and slow to deliver the goods.

 

Why would Doug need another tuner tech since he does all of his own tunes,unless something has changed. I have nothing against Chris Rose! very good man! just a big surprise.
