Corsa or Flowmasters A/T

I have finally broken down and decided to start upgrading my car....I guess I am gonna order some new exhaust this week and its come down to 2 from the videos I have watched and comments I have read...

Corsa or Flowmasters A/T...the price difference isnt a problem...unless its absolutely not worth it to get the higher priced Corsa

I searched a lot and ended up buying the Corsas about 6 months ago. They are fairly mellow at idle, but really wake up during WOT.
Next up are the LT headers, but I need to build up the courage and patience to do the install myself.

The deciding factor for me was not having any drone.

My second choice was the FRPP GTA's.

I liked my Flowmasters but didn't like the drone. I noticed the drone on the ATs at 1500 - 1700 rpm especially in top gear in my automatic car - even though it was very minimal compared to other mufflers. But the Corsas have NO drone and that's what I really love about them.

After a year of the drone, I got a great deal on some used Corsas. No drone, peaceful at idle and cruise and wild at WOT! I wouldn't go back to the ATs on my 05, though I loved them on the early Mustangs.

I've had the Flow ATs on my 06GT for the past 8 months... and couldn't be happier with 'em. About 6 wks ago I installed a C&L Street CAI, and man, the Flows even sound better now (I'm guessing due to the 60%+ CFM increased air flow). I've experienced little to no drone with my setup (stock "H" w/ AT axle-backs). Still turns a lot of heads & l get plenty of compliments from the signature tone.

Jim Browning, Jr - A Rep for Corsa - had his personal car on the Power Tour and I must say they sound awesome! Just like everyone says, they're almost undetectable at idle and don't have drone at speed, but at about 3200 RPM...they come alive!

Had Flows on the old 05..... have the Corsas on the 06 and LOVE them.

At idle they are not obnoxious but have a nice rumble to them. When you get ON it, they are great.

Let me also say I have been driving the car a bit 'harder' lately and I swear they have 'loosened up' a little.... at startup and idle they are definitely louder.

The design is great and the tips are the best.

I had Corsa’s on mine and loved them until I installed my LT’s. The Kooks changed the tone of the Corsa’s and made them raspy sounding. I sold the Corsa’s and tried the GTA’s. I was very happy with that combination. I will have to see how I like the GTA’s in the new setup and if I’m not happy I will go back to the Corsa.

Can you tell a big difference in sound with the corsas at idle than stock? and are the corsas louder than flows or gtas?
I still cant decide between corsas or slps

yeah no kidding, some sites gotta be outta their minds trying to get $400, $450, $500 for just axle-backs....

jegs got em (A/T)for a good price - http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0002_320554_-1

I personally recommend lapband clamps over the crappy stock ones and even the "U"-types since they dont crush the pipe. I see most people have either have Corsa or Flows. it's all preference. Good luck.

i had the flows and loved them. barely had any drone. it was there but it wasn't as earhurting as borla's or MACs. they were a great exhaust, nice and mellow, had that nice old school rumble. and screamed @ WOT. I payed $245 for a brand new set. best price ever on Flowmasters.

corsa's are great, I heard them in person, but when the person layed on it, it didnt seem very loud as the flowmasters. just my opinion....

i now have SLPs and couldnt be happier!

When are you getting your website up? I'm going to buy something from you eventually. You seem like a great guy to do business with. I'd like to browse through what you have available and see your prices. Do you have a price list?
