How's it sound with their x-pipe. I've heard from Corsa that it actually mellows the car some, because it gets rid of (what I'll call) the oscillations to make a smooth tone.

I'd be all over that x-pipe, if you didn't need to cut the factory h-pipe to install it. But, since Corsa doesn't make a easy "bolt-on", it stock for me (because if I ever wanted to remove it, I'd have to find a factory h-pipe to re-install)

But, just wondering how it sounds. I think you are the ONLY one on this forum that has both the Corsa axle backs and corsa x-pipe

How's it sound compared to JUST the axle-backs. Or, did you put them both on at the same time

I had the axlebacks on for a week before I put the X on. It is exactly as Corsa describes, much smoother. It is subtle but noticeable and better than the H imo.

Does anyone have some sound clips with the Corsa exhaust, then the Corsa + x-pipe? What are the performance gains (if any) for each mod vs stock?

Here's my car when the Corsas were new (stock headers and stock midpipe).

After about 500 miles, the tone got a little louder and deeper.

Then I added the off-road h-pipe.

Madness? This. Is. TMS! *kick*

But seriously, the clip of that alloy one from the outside was INSANE. One of the best sounding new cars I've heard. Imagine that with long-tubes and BBR Stage IIs.

If I stay on track with my modding plan, I'll be doing ARH LTs with a catted h-pipe in a year or so. I'm going the catted route because I'm going to have cut-outs welded in. I may buy an off-road h-pipe as well to just see what it'll sound like with the LTs but for the long-term, it'll be catted for sure.

I need to take more videos.
