Corsa - again...
Hey everyone,
I have an '07 gt order that the ERL says will be built week of 08/21 (excitement building ). After reading many of the posts on this site (which, there are many on exhaust and I was hesitant to start another) I have decided to go with the Corsa exhaust system. I'm looking for a deeper throatier sound then the stock, but nothing crazy. I wanna ask you, the experts, should I go for just the axle-backs or grab the X-pipe also? I noticed that there is some cutting involved with the X-pipe install and want to know if it's worth it?
Thanks.

Corsas are fantastic on there own, although I have never heard them with an X pipe before. With stock pipes they are just the right volume for me, which is not too loud, but a fantastic old time mustang sound. My advice is Buy them, and if the sound is not to your liking, then try out the X pipes. Just incase your wondering, they do give you a hint more horsepower, just enough to feel in the seat of your pants. Good luck!

Thank you Ben. That's what I wanted to hear! My wife is telling me not to order it because I haven't even got my car yet. But, I wanna order it so I can have them installed before driving much. I'm still on the wall regarding the shaker hood system and will probably wait awhile. I think getting the car, having it lower, windows tinted, and the Corsa'a will be a good start and set me back a few $.

Good luck with the new stang. It's never to early to start collecting parts. I've had mine over a year now and it's like Christmas day getting in it everytime. As for the shaker, I love it and some day when I run in to some money it will be mine.
