compression ratio of stock 4.6?
#1
Does anyone know the compression ratio of a stock 4.6? I seen 10.7:1 forged pistons and was wondering how much of a ratio jump that is over stock. I'd really like to know if anyone dyno tested higher comp pistons yet.

The stock comp ratio for the 3V 4.6L is 9.8:1
I thought about increasing it to 10.5:1 when I get my head work done but am not sure how the ECU will react to it. The computer in these cars is very sensitive. I'm going to wait till I can actually speak to some one who knows more about it.
