Comparison of the stock intake VS WMS 80/95 on the dyno
I've made this post in responce to another members questions about if the stock airbox flows good enough for the engine or if a aftermarket CAI will make more power.
The below graph shows the stock airbox VS the WMS 80 VS the WMS 95 kit on my car. The only tuning done is to correct the a/f using the 80 and 95mm kit. No timing adjustments were made. You can see that the 95 has no advantage over the 80 because it flows just to well for the stock engine but do some airflow mods and you'll see the gain of the 95 over the 80.
You can see a clear gain of 10rwhp and 12 rwtq at 4500 rpm's and nearly the same for the rest of the RPM range.

Was this directed to me?
I wasn't really knocking it, but actually stating my opinion. I know that it is a good intake, but I think it leaves a large looking hole where the stock intake is.

I was wondering about that in regards to the WMS. I always thought it looked pretty sweet overall, but I've never seen a picture showing the whole engine compartment. I assumed that it would just leave a huge empty space where the stock airbox used to be. Somehow every time someone posts a picture of theirs they manage to crop out that front driver side corner of the engine compartment. I imagine it would ruin the balanced look under the hood. Any thoughts (or better, pics) from anyone who has it?

Not to go to far adrift with the WMS racing CAI but here is a picture of my my Black GT with the WMS CAI and the Saleen Super Charger a great combo once I get it setup right Waiting on the 95 MM MAF from WMS ,Have the 39lb injectors and the 3.6 pulley. Wasn't happy with the stock setup Pulled 331 rwhp and 333 torque on a Mustang Dyno but max out the 80 MAF and the injector duty cyle was about 90%.So it's back to the dyno a soon as the new parts are put in.

The installation of the WMS does not leave a big hole (except in your wallet).
The engine compartment looks more balanced with the WMS.
