CMCV Delete Plates Price?

So I just started considering the possibillty of picking up some of these but while reading up on them noticed some substantial price increases. It seems that ford offered them for about 100 bucks through frpp and steeda for around 150. Steeda basicly sued them off the market and now the steeda part is nearly 300 dollars. Am I missing something here?

The cheaper ones are the economy plates.

There is no good reason to go with the expensive ones unless you have ported heads, or you want the N2O ports IMHO

EDIT:

I got the cheap ones from Brenspeed a couple of months ago, BTW

Keep a watchful eye on the classifieds, a used set will pop up every once in a while for $100. That's how I got mine.
