Less air flow restriction. I've read that the benefits are at the higher rpm range.

I wonder if companies should give you free parts in exchange for a great install writeup.

Some of the instructions included with parts these days just plain suck.

You're welcome.

It's not that bad of an install, but I know having a Show & Tell definitely helps out.

Not bad at all. I actually enjoyed it, even doing it alone.

Hey bro!

As for performance, I didn't "feel" any difference. However, there is a safety benefit which was a big reason why I did them:

Quotes from MF: "The biggest thing about these is there are no "flaps" to hang up, bend or anything to help the motor get hurt." "Plus, there has been at least one motor that failed due to the butterfly shaft bending and closing off several cylinders forcing all of the airflow into a few cylinders."

I hear you, my friend. Got the blessing from my financial advisor (aka The Wife) to do the Whipple blower if I land this new job I'm after ...so that will do away with them anyway. If I don't go FI (pretty doubful that I don't at this point), then I'll do the CMCV deletes...
