Not with the car right now but that what my wife is saying. I read in other threads something about throwout bearings but i dont know how to fix it. I have a centerforce Dual friction clutch installed. Have to be really listening to hear it. thanks

I've heard that in every manual I've owned, but only on startup when it's get cold out and idling; a quiet rattle when the clutch is out which goes away when depressed. It usually goes away in a few minutes after a short warm-up. I've never had it in warm weather (that I've noticed). I always attributed it to the throwout bearing.

I'm no expert, but I've never had one fail, and I had over 215,000 miles on the one in my last car, so I guess it's normal. I only ever heard it from the outside of the car.

I think it's an attribute of a twin disk clutch, mine isn't a Centerforce but I know what your talking about. I could see why it would bother her though it's quite unusual the first time you hear it.
