Checking A/F ratio with X-Cal2?
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it and I know Doug's always REAL busy.
Is there a way to check my A/F ratio with my X-Cal2? I'm thinking maybe mine's running a little rich.
Gas mileage on my last long trip (all highway & no "playing around") was only about 21 mpg. Also, it seems like my exhaust tips have a lot of soot in them.
EDIT: BTW I know nothing about datta logging or actaully using the X-cal2.

It is capable of logging A/FR, but you need a wideband sensor for it to read. The car does not have one stock, you would need to install one. Search for wideband O2 sensor and see what you find.

The LC-1 works great with an X-Cal2. This is a very popular combo. Keep in mind that you CAN'T get an AF ratio from the factory narrow band O2 sensors. The only thing they can tell you is which side of stoiometric (rich or lean) you are on and not much more.
But widebands.... Niiiiiiiccccceeeee!
