Charge Motion Control Delete Plates

Where to buy, who has the best prices and has them in stock? I don't want to spend the money on the billet plates but several of the places I order my parts from don't have the Ford Racing units in stock.

I have never heard of them being removed for an S/C. I think Brenspeed actually includes them in their S/C packages.

OP, check Brenspeed. Also, don't get the billet as they are more expensive and do the same thing as the lesser expensive ones.

The TS S/C's don't use the CMCV's as they have their own intake manifold.

Centri's retain the both the stock intake manifold and CMCV's. Installing the CMCV deletes is an option, like what Brenspeed provides.

True, both billet and cast models perform the same function, but one looks nicer over the other.

Thanks Bill for the clarification.

I installed the Billet CMDP from Steeda.
http://steeda.com/products/steeda_ch...ion_plates.php
Along with the Steeda UDP, they produced another 10hp/10tq.

I may have to take mine off, pull them apart, weld and polish them, I can do that for about $65.00. I'll just be with out the car for a day or 2.

I'm taking a ride down to Tillman on Friday to get my custom tune done. I was thinking about having Chris throw on some CMCDP's. Would you be able to tell me the price? I would have called but I don't think anyone is in today.

John,
Why are you looking for stockers?
I've kicked around the idea of re-installing my stock ones.
Lost some low-end torque on mine when I installed the deletes.

I have my stockers, but want a second pair to fab into deletes. I just don't want to spend more than $20 and a tune, and I enjoy little projects like that.

I'll check with a friend & see if he wants to sell his.
Gonna hang onto my stockers for a bit myself in case I end up re-installing them. Gained nice low-end torque with the LT's, but lost a little bit again with the deletes.

I was told the Steeda billet have a little larger openings than the stock ones that have the valves removed , so they flow a little better. Before I got my S/C I talked to Blow By Racing to get a price on heads and cams and such and they said they recommended the Steeda ones because of that ...

Do you have to get the car dyno tuned after the installation of the plates?
