I have the Borla axleback exhaust and was wondering if there was any benefit by adding the catback pipes to the mufflers? I saw a picture on another website of the stock catback pipes versus the Borla and they did have less bends. I would imagine that they would flow better but any power gains? I am not interested in H or X pipes.

No GAINS!

All your doing is spending money on pipes you ALREADY HAVE on the vehicle!

You might just get better sound quality since they're mandrel bent. If you take a close look at the stock ones, IMO, they look pretty crimped at the point just above the axle.

Highly doubt you would get anything performance wise out of it. In years past with the 5.0's and the New Edge styled 4.6's, they had 2.25 inch tubing. Since ours have full 2.5 inch exhaust, it is not really needed. Maybe on a high HP motor, smoother tubing over the axle would help
