Jared,

Seibon carbon hoods are nice for them. Stop in the shop, and we'll show you the different styles available. Also, I'm gonna call you tomorrow or Tuesday about that heatshield if its cool with you?

Shouldn't be a problem at all. I'll call you before 1:00. Seibon is in Cali. I want to verify stock.

I love the OEM hood, and the CL hood, which has a small cowl like 1.5". Seibon uses UV protected carbon fiber, and their fitment is dead-on.

Yes they have a clearcoat that you can wax. If you stop up at the shop any given afternoon, I probably have a car in the parking lot at any given time I can show you as an example.

Synister, yes I can get carbon fiber hoods for foxbody's as well. I have an awesome 2" cowl induction hood by VIS racing. VIS racing is also UV protected and clear-coated I use to have one on display at the shop, but we sold 2 and never reordered. You can see that one here:

Let me know!

****, those things are more expensive than I thought. They're priced WAY over what you'd pay for any other car. I guess it's the size of the hood. I can get both VIS and SEIBON

The VIS hoods all run between 629-669 depending on style and about 160 to the door. The retail for like 960 + truck freight.

The SEIBON hoods all run between 729-749 depending on style and about 150-160 in freight. They retail at 980 + truck freight.

That is consistent with Ebay pricing and other online stores.
