Car is dyno'd and tuned....time to start shopping for forged internals

Got my car dyno tuned yestarday by Doug at Bamachips and HOLY $h*t. The car made 523rwhp and 493rwtq. My bottom end needs beefing up soon. He lowered the idle down to 600rpm and for anyone who is down on Comp Cams for not changing the idle much, well there's a considerable difference now. My car pulls so hard now. Only problem I have now is that with a single Ford GT pump and a KB BAP, the car started to lose fuel at 5500rpms. So I'm going to have to finish up installing the other GT pump and buy a second FPDM to be able to go ahead and get Doug to tune it out to 6400rpms. Monday I should be able to post my dyno graph and possibly tomorrow I'll try to get a video of the car for you guys. Robbie (OKLACOP) has a video of one of the first pulls. The baseline that Doug got for the car was 400rwhp and like 3**rwtq, so he found 123rwhp out of my car. INSANE!!!! The man knows his stuff. So big thanks to Doug and Robbie and Blake and Joe Cooper Ford for letting us use their lot. Everyone else that was there it was nice meeting you and hope to run into you again at another show.

William,

My ears are still ringing from your side exhaust. We were slammed on Saturday during the show. Doug never even took a break to eat. I left at abour 5:40 pm and they were still tuning. I won't hijack your thread. I'm going to start one with pics of the tuning and other pics from the show. I'll email the movies to you.

I know this is off-topic,but OKLACOP,how does your exhaust sound with Flows,LT's,and Catted H-Pipe?

Anyway,on the original topic side, nice numbers 2006GT500. I am surprised you got 523rwhp with just 10-11 Lbs. of boost. You should take it easy until you get new internals. The rods are most definately at their limits now.

Congrats William!
I'm glad Doug was able to take care of you. We was changeing out my springs today, had the passenger side done ,moved over to the drivers side and when we hooked up the air to the spark plug hole, there was air leaking into the oil pan,so I think I will have to pull the drivers side head and change out the rings. I don't think they seated properly, the car has a little over 8,000 miles on it. Doug was going to be Dyno tuneing it next week. again congrats on your car!

I think it's perfect, pretty loud, very throaty but not offensive. William's is flat out crazy loud. I'm trying to post up videos of both cars on they dyno, but I don't think the sound quality will do either of them justice.

William, I've tried posting them twice and it won't work. I emailed you yours. I may try to put them on youtube and post the link.

Thumbs up

Yes, very impressive William!!! I was shocked he found that much power out of it. After we got all the small kinks worked out of it Doug did his magic. You have one H**L of a car on your hands but fuel fuel fuel and forged internals soon!!!

All I have to say about Doug's tuning capabilities is WOW!!! Doug and Dennis traveled ten hours with dyno to come take care of these guys and I cant thank him enough. I hope Doug's expectations were met and that everyone was as happy as me with the final results. Thanks to Dennis for all the help and running around you had to do to get everyones car done in the short time we had.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the show and helped make it successful!!! It was great meeting all of you and hope to see all of you again soon.

Sorry for hijacking your post.... Newbeee!!!!!!

William,

The link works, sorry for the horrible video. My camera isn't really meant for video, but oh well. Let me know if the link works for you.

So, you made 523rwhp at what rpm? If you could not ring it out to say 6500-6700rpm because of fuel pressure, it is going to make sick power up there when you get the fuel issue's fixed. Is the car stalling or does it run rough with the Stage IV's?

Nope car idles perfect. Does not run rough at all.

Yeah Robbie I checked out the video, love the bird crap shot you got.

I made that on 10#'s with the biggest pulley I have. I have two smaller pulley's just sitting waiting to go on the car once a built bottom end goes in.

Cinematography isn't one of my strengths, but you did post on here prior to the tune that your car was gonna be dirty. I was just documenting that you are a man of your word

It was because of the fuel cutting out. As soon as I get another FPDM and the other GT pump in we'll get it all tuned out above 5500rpms.

it's the hole point that who was driving the car on the dyno, doug should have told them to let off as soon as it got above 12.5 to be safe.you are lucky it did not blow up.i mean if doug was going to pay for a new motor that would be different.i made 457rwhp at 6500 and my final A/F was 12.1 at that rpm with no cooler and the stock 3.80 pulley at 11.5psi.
