Check out Brenspeed. The Stage III kit gained Brent over 30 horse! Look under the tech section specifically for a write up and info. I would imagine the Stage IV kit will give similar results.
I have Brent's car on video with these III cams, some other bolt-ons, and 125 shot of nitrous running 11.3 at the strip! WOW!

its not going to have a rough idle like mine did. Doug said the idle was very close to stock.

If I remember right, Brent's car with bolt-ons and the cams has right around 345 horses at the wheels.

Yes my dyno run was SAE corrected. I'm hoping to hit at least 340 if not 350. Once I have them installed I'm going to dyno it and then send the results to Doug to get a tune together for me. In the near future I'm going to be putting on the charge motion delete plates so I think it should be up there. I spoke with Doug and he said my idle probably won't change too much, however Comp said they will and so did the guy I bought them from. We'll see. Like I said in my original post, I got these really cheap and if they aren't what I am looking for I can do it again with something more like EmperorJordan's cams. I am looking for horsepower out of these but I definitely want a lope to go along with them. I haven't heard of anyone else doing Stage IV's yet so we'll see what happens.

Right around 121 or 122. If you zoom and pause the video at the end, you may be able to see it on the lightboard.
I should add to that the car is at full weight- there is a description of the mods on Brenspeed's website.
Thanks.

It's be nice if they were that cheap for these cars and all of them had a nasty lope and made insane power.

Does anyone have video of COMP cams of any size, esp stage 2 or 3? Some have posted they have installed them or getting ready to but I can not find a video of COMP cams. I have seen/heard the video of BBR's cams and I am not interested in theirs.

How many hours does it take to install cams. Brenspeeds write up shows great gains and I am definetly interested, but if it costs a lot to install I'd rather just spend a bit more and buy a supercharger.

if a shop does it you should be charged around 10 hours for cams and valve springs. The actual cam swap is quick, its changing the valve springs thats a *****.
if you do it yourself, its gonna take way longer than that.

10 hours @ 70-80 an hour is a big chuck of change. Brenspeed's write up showed roughly 25 whp, which is nice but I am not sure it's worth the effort. The Cam kit costs 1K plus install and tune. You are looking for 2K for the cams when all is said and done. Not too much bang for the buck IMO.

if you can do the install yourself, you are way better off. If you can't, then I would def. recommend just saving up 2-3 more grand and getting a blower.
Right now Im planning on going with cams this spring but am not sure if I should go with BBR or COMP (Doug) I think I will really make up my mind once I get to hear a sound clip of the cams from Bamachips (Even though Doug said its not much of a change over stock)
Also EmperorJordan lets say I get the BBR Cams, install them, everything is well: How much should I expect for a tune? Could you PM me your final price when you were all said and done with the swap?
