c&l racer
#4
I have both. The street looks nice and will give you plenty of gain untill you upgrade to headers and cmdplates. It also holds up very well for daily driving. The racer really isn't necessary till you do more upgrades including cams. I use the street for normal everday cruising and I use the racer for track days.

Well I have been told the exact opposite. The only thing the racer is not supposed to be good for is nitrous, because of a backfire etc. The racer is bigger and will let breath better than the street, hence called racer intake, not street. So when you add pulleys, delete plates, cams, supercharger the racer is what you need to give you more air while giving it more fuel. the street is smaller hence less air. So if as long as your not doing nitrous, racer is more air. Good luck
