C&L Racer

I ordered one of these with the xcal 2 (on the way now), and was reading somewhere that this CAI is more for a car with heavy mods. My car is stock and i was wondering if this will cause problems, or will it be the same as the street C&L???

You'll be fine. We've sold tons without problems. It will just get better with the other mods, long tubes, cams, etc.

Do a search, youee that this has been debated/argued/beaten around a bit....the "for mods only" actually boils down to this - the size of the inlet tube will work better and allow a bit more of a gain as the mods pile on but you won't suffer anything if you don't mod...if you plan on getting blown/cracking her open to mod the internals go with the racer now and don't worry about the airflow for the high perf stuff later...

I have the Racer with tunes from Brenspeed. It works great no problems. This was my first performance mod. Worry not Daniel you will love it!

You should think of the C&L Racer as a good foundation. The addition of other modifications will only improve the performance potential of this intake.
