Installed my new CAI and the 93 octane Breenspeed tune. I can't belive the differnece this makes. Its not just a muscle car anymore, it feels like a muscle car on steroids. Even with the automatic tranmission I can get a chip in 1st and 2nd with the traction control on. Best of all that annoying throttle lag is completely gone. I also think the flowmasters sound a little deeper.

I know that a lot of guys said a performance tune from Bamachips or Brenspeed was great, but this makes it feel like a different car. I'm a believer.

Congrats. That's a great mod for the new Mustang. We are lucky to have good tuners like Brent and Doug (and others) here on the forum. I'm glad I found this forum and the great sharing of information that is passed along.

First mod to do to these cars, can't beat the feeling of gaining so much power just from a cold air intake and a tune.

I've been thinking about doing this to my car as well (currently stock with 800 miles). I'm debating the JLTII vs the C&L. I think I'll go with Brenspeed for the package complete with tunes. Glad to hear others are happy with this setup/tune.

Did you get the 95MM Black Plastic RACER PACKAGE or the other 83mm Metal version?

I just sent Brent my Xcal2 to have user adjustability added to it. He had it back to me within a week. Brenspeed has great customer service to go with his great deals.

I got the 83mm. The dyno information I saw the HP gains were about the same. Unless you were planning on putting on a supercharger, then then the the larger 95mm.

I just switched my V6 from the MMR with tube to the C&L... I could NOT believe the difference the C&L made! I never would have guessed it would make any difference at all, yet it made a big difference... and like you it seems to have changed my exhaust note...

I got the JLT2 from brenspeed ands its awsome, feels the same as my freinds c&l from brenspeed. We raced a few times and its even pretty much whoever gets traction first wins. we both have autos. I got the jlt because i dont like the silver pipe and is 100 cheapers. Either way you will be impressed.

can't go wrong with either one of the tuners (doug or brent) or the inakes jlt/c&l. The results will put a smile on your face.

I have the JLT and SCT-X2 tune from one of the BIG THREE and love it. You will too.

Question for those with the C&L. Is the cone filter washable like a K&N. This is one of my big concerns. I would hate to buy a new cone filter every 10K to 15K miles. I can just imagine what they cost.

Yes, they are washable and able to be re-oiled just like a K&N filter.

Thanks Scott... I could not find the answer anywhere on C&L's site or our forums. You would think they would advertise that.

Your Welcome SCOTT!!! If you have an existing K&N filter cleaning kit you can use it on the C&L filter.
