I got 255/50/17 Potenza re750 tires all around on the 8th. My ****-ometer isn't all that accurate, but they do seem to stick a bit better than the Pirellis. I won't know for sure how well the launch has improved until June, when the local track opens. However launch has a much better feel to it now. The Pirellis didn't make much noise when they spun, but can definitely hear the Potezas. I'm not a daring twisty driver, nor do I have a G-meter, but they hold the road at least as well as PZeroNero. I've only had them up to 120 mph - no wierdness. And they look good, imo.

I will upload photos when the server permits it

Did you have a hard time getting these? I just called a local shop and he said "they might be discontinued". Apparently this is an OEM size for the old Impala SS. Guess there aren't too many of those things running around any more.

The local shop normally gets their tires from a distributor in Vancouver. For the Potenza tires they had to order from Mississauga, Ontario. It took about a week. They could have ordered the Fuzion ZRi overnight.

the tires are nearly identical in diameter to the stock tires, 235/55/17 is 27.17 inches diameter, 255/50/17 is 27.03 inches diameter. When I get an X-Cal2 I'll program the new tire size in, but it's probably not enough to notice, maybe 1/2 mph off at 100.

edit - photos added - guess which are new!
