BrenspeedvsBama Chips

I am seriusly considering a CAI and SCT 2 programmer for my 2005 GT auto.but am having trouble deciding whether to order from Brenspeed or Bama. Both seem to have a good reputation. What are users preferences and why?

I went with Brenspeed because geographically he is a little bit closer, in case I ever needed to visit his shop for a dyno run or something.

They were both in the top 20 for overall sct sales for the year of 2005! I used brenspeed, but lots have used bamachips.

+1 on Both of them being great tuners and having great customer service.

I went with Doug @ Bama when I had my K&N. Can't say enough good things about him and his tunes. Having said that - I have read a ton of good stuff on Brenspeed.

1 more that went with Doug at Bamachips. I just installed my C&L and race tune and its incredible and nothing against the amazing job Doug is known for but you will find the same on the other side too..... That is why it comes down to whichever one you want.

brenspeed here but they're comprable to each other, each within what 1-2hp of each other, that you will never feel.

call em both, whomever you like, order from them.

I've used both. Started with Brenspeed, now with Bamachips. Doug added 7 horses with the 93 Perf tune over Brent's 93 Octane tune. Both are great tuners though...you'll be happy either way.

I have to say, this guy is right on the money.

Doug is right up the road, so he's my man.

I started out Brenspeed, currently with BamaChips...considering Alternative Auto now that I've got my torque converter installed... my friend started out with someone else, then switched to Brenspeed for his manual tune. He's running 12.7's with bolt-ons and slicks...

Great products, great price and great service (and I'm speaking from personal eperience)...I dont think you'll lose with either of them...

Also started with Brenspeed then went with Doug's 93 Race tune. Both are very good I just like that Doug will email tunes out to 'ya (no shipping the Xcal2 back in hassle).

Good point. When I went to the Pypes Offroad H-Pype, Doug emailed out my same Dyno tune with the rear 02 sensors turned off. Awesome! No check engine lights!
