Another for Brenspeed. Their customer service on anything purchased from them is second to none!!

I have both Tillman and Brenspeed tunes on my xcal. The Tillman tune feels faster and has nice firm fast shifts. The track however tells me in reality the brenspeed tune is a little quicker. I wish I could get the Brenspeed tune with the Tillman shifts that would be perfect.

I have a brenspeed tune. It's linear and drives very nicely. However I'm having issues with it at altitude. If you're at sea level or drive at a constant altitude you should love it.

I'm going to probably have to have a custom tune done here at altitude so the car works properly.

I have all 3 on my X3 and Tillman and Brenspeed were pretty much dead on, with the exception that the Brenspeed tune was a little richer A/F. 13.9 compared to 13.4 with Tillman. Bama had higher HP right at the peak, but was similar throughout the power curve.

Actually 13.4 is richer so from reading your post I suspect the Tillman tune is richer.

Dysan is correct. Our file was 13.4 from a tailpipe sensor, but if I recall the right graph it was in the 13.2ish range for the most part. Either way, that's about 13.0 up front.

Switched to a Tillman 91 All out tune today from the Brenspeed 91 Tune. Up top they're both similar. both have good drivability.

The Tillman tune is 10 fold better below 3000 rpm. This car actually GOES!! from a stop now. No hurry up and weight for the CMCV transfer at 3000 rpm.

My situation is a bit different since I'm at 4700 ft above sea level. The true test will be when I take the car into the mountains near 10,000 feet.

Wound up going with Tillman. Now EAGERLY waiting for my ARH catted h LTs and JLT II intake / SCT tuner w/ several tunes to arrive!

What's up Chris - Can't wait for the goods to get here. Set up to get them installed in early Feb. at a local dyno shop.

Not to hijack my own thread, but what is the CMCV transfer. Whatever that means, I have absolutely noticed that the engine doesn't really come alive until 3000 RPMs above...at 3K it kind of kicks you in the a$$

Let me know when you get that thing up to altitude. Like, Coors Lite altitude. I'm curious to see how she runs!

More or less, it's when the Charge Motion Control Valve's open up inside the manifold runners and allow the volume of air needed for a high-load WOT situation.

We try and create a smoother powerband from idle-launches to redline. We do that by increasing many low end characteristics to match the mid-range power burst.

I may try to hit Estes Park today actually. That's about 7500 ft. So far she's running incredibly well. I about plowed into the back of a car after I first loaded it up. I was driving it like I did with the old tune.

the throttle response with the all out tune is unreal!

That tunes throttle response is for expert MT drivers. I worry about the car wash employees when drive it. So far so good though.
