Brenspeed first to second (auto) Question

I have Brenspeed custom tune w/ JLT2 and SCT2 tuner. 87,89,93
It seems the shift from 1st to 2nd is not firm and quick like the rest of the gears. It is the same w/OD on or off. Is this normal?

Do you have a Brentspeed custom tune? Or do you have a canned tune from Brentspeed? If you paid Brent to Dyno-tune your car he should be able to adjust that for you in your tune.

Under what throttle conditions? If I am on the go pedal hard it will chirp the tires bigger than Sh&t and is very firm and fast. It really depends on throttle position.

I am not referring to the take off I was referring to the 1-2 shift and If i am at WOT i can also chirp the tires on the 2-3 shift. Also if you called or emaile dBrent with all your mods and your requested tunes those are his custom tunes.

I'm talking about just keeping it in drive. Not shifting with the handle.

I'm sure he's keeping it in drive, but you cannot expect the same results if his car is a coupe.

Just ask Brent to email you a new tune that firms up the shift pressure on the 1-2 shift. I'm sure it won't cost you much, if anything.

Sorry Richard i'm a little confused. let me try again.. When I am at a stop and want to get into traffic quickly, the throttle response is fine, then as it goes into 2nd,its not firm, then going into 3rd is firm..same with 4th and 5th

Boltz,
I consider "custom" tune one customized on the dyno for your own car.
Brent sells pre-made tunes wich is what you must have purchased I assume.
People really like his pre-made tunes. So much so that I am having Brent dyno tuning my car in a few weeks at his shop.
