Sweet! Are you going to install it yourself? Post pics and keep us updated.

Where did you end up buying it from?

Sounds cool man. What year model is your car? Also, does the kit come with a tune?

My car is an 06 GT and yes it does it's a complete kit from Paxton themselves and shipped from them. Im not sure how that works but I'm not complaining.

My MagnaCharger came with an SCT tuner and a canned tune from them , but they're usually a pretty conservative tune so you can run the car once you've installed it and not blow it up. To get the max out of your unit you're going to need to have it dyno tuned ...

450rwhp is enough for me. Next will be a full suspension and big brake kit.

With stock internals 450 RWHP is around the maximum considered as safe and that's with a good dyno tune , so if you're going to be putting that much down I would monitor my A/F ratio quite closely. I'm getting around that much RWHP and at WOT my A/F drops almost immediately into the 11.6 - 11.7 range and then drops down further as the rpm's climb. It's a safe tune , but that's what I want in hopes of not blowing the engine ...

Agreed.. I'm not looking for a 10 sec drag car. I just want my car to get up and go!

Don't quote me but I believe the 5.0s put down around 390 to the wheels stock. I had a paxton blower and it was definently a blast! You will love it!

I made 520 rwhp @11.8 psi on stock internals (unless you wanna count nsr cams) on my 07 automatic GT with over 62k miles. Still running strong...

Yes , but your car is a GT500 which comes with a S/C and has built internals for it. He doesn't say what he has , but I'm assuming that he has a GT and the stock internals on it aren't the same ...

After many set backs and slowly working on the car when I come home. The Paxton supercharger is finally installed. Very happy with the results and clean look. Left a nice line a rubber on the road too
