Just got the car back, had the Borla cat-backs installed along with the motive 4:10's. The Borla's sound great, even my wife loves em' and man the car sure is snappy now
No whine from the gears that I can detect and while I've heard some drone from the Borla's I'm never at the speed or RPM range long enough for it to be an issue. It seems to be more prevelent when the engine is lugging a little. It will take a little getting used to because 1st goes by pretty quick but I would definitely concur with all the others that the 4:10 is a good gear for the 05.

 

The Borla's have significant drone around 1700 to 2000 RPM with the stock gearing this is around 60 to 65 mph (guessing). Where (what mph)is the drone with the 4:10's?

 

Drone really isn't too bad (I don't even notice it....more like a hum, which I like). Ron, I have borla as well so I KNOW how good they sound
