Question Boom Tubes vs Borla Stingers question?

Anyone running Boom tubes? I'm curious how loud you think they are and if anyone has tried the Borla or FRPP axle backs how they compare to the Boom Tubes?

Rich, while I've never heard Boom Tubes, I loved how the Borlas sounded on my car (before I added the longtubes). Had a nice rumble at idle and sounded great at WOT. And the drone is only between 1700-2000 rpms. A great set of mufflers.

Oh I love the Borla's too I just don't want to spend another $400+ on a set. It would be #3.

I would say after hearing both in person, the Stingers have a much more refined sound than the Boom Tubes. I mean, really all the Boom Tubes are is a muffler delete, something similiar to the Loudmouths.

Personally, I love my Stingers (I also have longtubes). I have heard an 06 with Mac longtubes and he said he had Boom Tubes and I did not like the sound at all. As said before, it was definately not as refined as the Stingers. Very very raspy from what I remember.

Hey Lee, here ya go. Click below for 4 different videos take by my friends.

The video below was filmed after a club car show in Long Beach Island, NJ. We were heading up to the lighthouse for pictures, but we sent the one member who loves to video everything. I told her to film all the cars going by, and when she edits it, don't add music. This way, you can hear all the different exhaust notes. So you know, my car comes in to frame about 30 seconds into video. Just as the black GT is pulling away from the side of the road, mine will come into the shot. Crank the speakers on your computer as I dropped the gear and stood on it a tad.

Bad Mustangs Club in LBI New Jersey

Second and third video below were taken a week ago. I attended the MCA InterNationals in Canada, and this was taken during the ride home. We were on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and entered the Lehigh Tunnel. Whenever I enter a tunnel, I have a little fun with my exhaust, as it sounds SO SICK reverberating off the walls. I had my two friends go ahead of me, and I stayed back about 40 yards. No traffic either behind or infront, and when they were ready, I dropped the hammer!!! MAN DID IT SOUND GOOD (sorry for the wind noise, but I think you can get the idea from the video. )!! Tell me what you think!

Lehigh Tunnel Exhaust Video #1 (the fly by)

Lehigh Tunnel Exhaust Video #2 (a quick stab of the thottle & gear change)

Lehigh Tunnel Exhaust Video #3 (flyby from the other car)

I know its not perfect, the video, as it was taken with digital camera, but I think you can get the idea just how good our cars sound with longtubes (I have an H-Pipe from ARH with hi-flows) and Borla Stingers! I LOVE IT!!!
