MTAS. Thanks for the BMR info on the previous posts. I ordered a strut tower brace last week and just installed it. Very easy install, although there is some type of ground wire or something that you must push out the way. It took less than 15 min. Put a pic on my profile. Next mod maybe to lower 1.5" ?? but someone posted that you must reset your caster/camber... Thanks again.

Great photos . I have these also. Installed along with steeda springs that I love. No more choppy ride. Very smooth.

I got a call from BMR telling me that they accidentally mailed out LCA's with the wrong bushings in them. Apparently one end has larger bushings? or is narrower?

I received mine today...and each end looks identical...as far as I can tell.

Can anyone help me out with this? Are both ends the same or different?

SurfnSoCal, if memory serves, the front bushing is wider than the rear, but I could have it reversed. Their directions specifically state to put the end that's wider (or narrower) toward the front.

Talked to BMR. They are overnighting me new bushings, that I can replace myself.

Great customer service from them.....or maybe I should wait to say that untill the LCA's are on and I know they fit

Those of you with adjustable LCAs did you guys get the "Race" version with rod ends or the "Street" version with a combination? Any benefit to the "Race" version?

Is there a big difference in road noise? I bought some MMR's off ebay but have not heard alot about them anyone have them? There the same as the BMR race ones with the Teflon lined HD spherical bearings.

I plan on getting the MMR ones too. Mark over there says there is not much noise with the regular LCA's. But if you get their adjustable ones, there is a slight increase in noise over the non-adjustable ones.

I think you might pick up a little more road noise and vibration with the spherical bearings (due to metal to metal contact), but not sure how much.

Tim,
I got the "Street" version with a combination but I'm starting to regret it. The Helm joint does transmit more road noise and gear noise. It is also very harsh going over any bump or pot-hole in the street. :notnice: If I had it to do over again, I would go with the urethane at both ends. Guess I'm not as hard core as I once was . . . .
