I have the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 (275/40ZR18) on my 05 Steeda Q now. They are a V-tread design and seem to work better that the Nitto’s 555 (275/40ZR18) that were on the car when I got it. I also have the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars (275/40ZR18) on my other mustang. It’s an 06 but I have not had a chance to try them out in the rain yet. I personally like the Goodyears over the other guys

Car & Driver rated the Goodyear Eagle F1s as the best performance tire on the market. Project Source Horse wears them.

I went by the Tire Rack survey results.

It's been so long since they've been on the car (due to the cold weather), but the short time I rode on them I was really impressed with the wet weather traction.

ehh nothings expensive if you've got...connections

Still expensive at cost! But none the less, the best IMO.
Ive worked for GY for 16 years, always ran them, and always took off factory tires asap.
Im trying to sell my stock 18's so I can afford some F1's lol.
Still paying off the goodyear eagle ultra grip GW3 snow tired.
6 months same as cash is nice.

Fuzion ZR-1's.
Great handling tires. Very sticky. For drag racing, I'm not sure, they are way stickier than stock and cheap.

I am gonna second that, but we do know they work at the drags. We clicked of 12.95's consecutively in the mid summer heat after driving our car to the track. We only lowered the air pressure to 20 psi and they hooked better than ANY true radial I have ever seen, 1.90 60ft times.

If it isnt a Drag Radial or straight Drag (really sticky) tire it wont hook up well at the strip. There will be some spinning. I can imagine the F1s being a bit better than the stock pZeros.

I gotta agree with Dan. Street tires can only take you so far. My 275/50-17 Nittos hooked pretty dang well, until I mixed Doug's torque tune into the equation. After that, it was on to DRs.
