Well, I had a great time at the track tonight-Moroso in West Palm Beach. 13.37@104.21mph. My 60' time was 1.892 which is also my best. Before tonight, I couldn't break 2.03 in the 60'. Still on stock tires! You can see below the mods I have and my timeslips attached for 4 of my 5 runs. My 5th run, I missed 2nd and still put down a 13.88. You'll also see that in 2 of the runs, I raced an 04 GTO. He was still getting used to his car-atleast that's what he was saying. He wanted to race me the 2nd time for redemption...sorry charlie! :nono: My driver number is 8164 which you'll see at the top of each slip. I just can't wait until I put in the 4.10 gears and get a set of Mickeys! Just about every run, I have been getting better! Just imagine this car with a charger on it!

I feel like a little kid at Christmas, just so anxious to get the next toy! I'll definately be posting improvements. I need to get her on a dyno as well and have it tuned properly!

Those are some great times with stock tires. Doubt the goat enjoyed tonight quite as much as you did.

Of course, after my 5th run, I was ready to go and my buddy showed up with a video camera. RATS! I want to get it all on video. My problem then would be putting it on here somehow.

Sorry for the oversight Sixty Six. I have a bad habit of not reading everyone's sig's. I read some. I guess that's like taking someone's business card and cramming it in your pocket without looking at it first...them cram it in your pocket. I will get vids the next time I go. I won't be there for a couple of weeks. I am going to get 4.10's installed and want to get atleast 500 miles on them before I launch it! Plus, I'm going to the Dominican Republic for a week with work.

Way to go 169! Better and better each time out. 4.10's, sticky tires, CAI and then 12's for sure!

Awesome time! What did you launch at to get that great 60 time? What pressure were you running your tires at? Powershift or granny shift? Did you hit 4th or leave in 3rd.

Sorry for all the questions but I can only race in my head until it warms up.

I launched at 4500 rpm and granny shifted at 6000 every gear. I was back up to 6100rpm right at the 1/4 mile mark. 36psi in the tires. 2 weeks ago, my times were worse at 25psi. I'm sure there are some other folks here that could get into the 12's with their current mods. I saw a guy with the same mods, but with gears, steeda CAI, and skills, hit 12.99. I'm just seeing what times I can get without the next mod. My 4.10's will be in tomorrow and I need to schedule the install. On deck...sticky tires!!!
I did a standing burnout, and the stock tires hooked really great. It felt like it bogged a bit and jumped up and out off the line. Almost felt like I had tall slicks on and the sidewalls were wrinkled. It didn't really break loose at all.
There was a couple of old timers that have been around racing since before I was born followed me until I parked and drilled me with questions. I felt like it was someone's first time seeing a t.v. when they've listened to the radio their whole life. They were looking for me to run all night. Unusual attention.

Thanks to all-I'm pretty excited. Boss...when are you going to get back out there? You must be getting Ruby all set up to run. You're keeping all the power supressed and you know she needs to let it out!

I've been running out third. Once I get the 4.10's, I know I'll be in 4th. What rpm's are you shifting at? I don't powershift though. I love doing this racing, but I really don't want screw up my tranny. I've never powershifted before and more than likely will never. The Steeda control arms made a world of difference. Totally removed the hop!
Thanks!
