I guess folks are voting for what they own. Bassani.

I really love the Flowmaster sound on the 03 Mach 1s, but for my car there is Bassani with the x pipe coming soon. I hear that the Flowmasters do not sound that great on the 05, and lose some performance. What is the truth?

Yeah I hear ya on the Mach 1 comment , but then again that sound only comes from the 4 valve motors.

I'd be interested to know any stories about lose of performance - from what I had heard, I though the Flow Masters were good - especially since they waited until AFTER the car was out and released to get their design right......

Isn't this the second muffler pole in the last two weeks. Why a new thread?

Interesting poll but has anyone even heard most of them in person. Of course people are going to vote for what they have... unless it sounds worse than the stock. I do know there are a few guys on here who have swapped out several brands but I find it hard to believe most have heard more than a couple.

and sound clips don't count.

Can anyone tell me which makes it the closest to say a 92 model GT's purr or do any of them? I love the "sound" of a stock Stang... but the 05 is just to quiet. I've never really modified my exhausts in the past.... actually I guess that's not entirely true... I usually just straight pipe them from the cats back...

I have to say the IMCO performance exhaust is the loudest / best sounding. I seem to be the only one here with this system though. Great price too. I have a great sound / video clip. It's too large to post though. If someone can tell me how to strip the sound out I could probably post it.

Wow, I can't believe it's such a close match between the SLP's and the Bassani's. Looks like it's between those two. Hey, if anyone else has any vids/sound clips for the Bassani....please post!

Bassani - can't wait for them to market their header so I can finish the exhaust system - the swelling from the beating my wife gave me when she saw the cost is starting to go down finally.
