Best Cold Air Intake?

I kno, I kno, prolly a noob question but I have to ask. What cold air intake kit will give me the best gains? Im currently leaning towards the Steeda kit but thats just because Steeda is a reputable company and they seem to be verry popular on sites like americanmuscle.com and stuff. Any suggestions? And yes whenever I do get a cold air kit, I will get a tuner with it.

I have a JLT and it's great but I think the C&L Racer makes more power.

i have the jlt and it rocks....

doesnt look the best, looks good dont get me wrong, but it does make lots of power..... it was one of the top contenders.

theres a thread with comparisons in it somewhere around here.

The Saleen Ultimate Air Kit from JDM is the coolest looking and has shown some impressive gains. I have a JLT, but when my supercharger goes in, I'm going to use the Saleen kit.

Most of the HP comes from the tune anyway. So just so long as you pick any CAI with a nice big filter and get it with a good tuner and tune from a reputable company, you will get good gains.

I heard that the WMS with the ram air and the 95mm mass air and tune was #1 then steeda #2 JLT #3 then C&l was #4.That was last year.I could be wrong, but its what you like best that counts. And were only talking about a couple of horse power differents.Like every ones says its the tune that makes the big change.

Naturally, I am going to go with the BBK CAI since I run it. It's awesome. Haven't had any problems. Stay pretty clean too!

Most CAIs have great power gains with tunes...what it really comes down to is which one you think looks best.

Tucker, owner of JLT always gives great customer service too. I like to buy products (when I can) where you can actually talk to the owner.

get the intake and tune from the same vendor. It less expensive that way. Last I checked JLT with tuner with 3 tunes 525 bucks
