I planned on purchasing a new part for the Mustang soon. I was on the RPM outlet and they finally have the JET Power-Flo T/B Spacer in stock at $90. Sounds like a good deal. I've never experienced a throttle body spacer before but I've heard that is a great mod to get the torque up and is a very easy installation. However I called JET and asked them about mixing it up with a bigger throttle body, like the BBK, and they told me that you cant since the T/B spacer was made for the stock size throttle body. Both very good mods, but I thought it would have been great to combine both to get a great max Horsepower and Torque output. But I thought I'd let everyone know of the tech. info in case some people were looking at that kind of setup.

But in the end it looks like I will be going with the T/B spacer for now because of my budget and because BBK tells different dates to people about the release of their products, especially their T/B.

I was told RPM outlet is up to 200 backorders on T/B's, think RPM needs to start advertising when they have the part in stock. And I checked about the T/B spacer and they have it in stock.

757GT on another forum has both the spacer and the BBK TB. I am waiting for a response from him concerning the gains he may have seen with the combo.

According to people talking directly to BBK, they say that the 2005 TB doesn't have a launch date yet, but they are shooting for late august/early fall... Is this the case, if so, how can this person have the TB yet?

throttle body spacers are a waste of $$..They claim HP increases but really only make more noise and generally do not increase any noticeable HP..IMO, you should put your $$ towards something else...

I was curious about this. I figured they would add up to more noise, just based on what they are. JET is a good company, but 8-10hp would be hard to beleive without someone here documenting a dyno session with it. I want the BBK TB when it comes out, but wasn't sure about this spacer.

Thanks Paul for being the test mule so to speak. You are not alone, I have done my fair share of testing... Might do the same this time too! Love to hear about it as soon as you get it installed.

RPM outlet seems to be a pretty good firm to deal with from my experience and from what I have heard from others.

I ordered a gauge pillar from them and received it pretty quick. If you're a large company, there will almost always be some that fall thru the cracks. It's a matter of taking care of those that do! Had I had this info that I just learned, I more than likely would not have ordered the pillar from them.

Just a bump - looking forward to hearing your experience with the spacer, when you get it.
