BBK Throttle Body

If I could score one for $150 would it be worth it? Is it worth getting?

I just put one on... Paid $100 for it.... I have a jlt cai and the sct custom 93 octane race tune.

I could feel a good difference in power from it... It makes the intake pull air allot better ... Makes a nice whistling sound when you hit the throttle... Beware if you don't set the TPS sensor up properly you will experience a huge decrease in mpg and your idle will be really high/low depending on you have it set... I'm still ****ing with mine do to poor instruction from an online company

The tuner doesn't adjust the TPS for you?

I installed mine over a year ago, and noticeably improved throttle response, even with my k&n cai. Mine was idling at like 1k, i brought it into a local performance shop, they adjusted it for me for free. Have had no problems since. And, as stated, it does make a sweet whistling sound when you get on it.

Yea I know, I'll get the tb eventually. Then finish the exhaust with an off road x pipe and headers. All in due time...

I just recently found out our cars sound better w off road h ppipes.... Wish I would have known that.... The x set up sounds too high pitched IMO the h gives it a more deeper 2v tone

you had to record voltage value before removing the old one, then adjust the voltage in the new one.
