I put 100 miles on my newest mod today. The C&L tune was sufficient. No Check engine light at all. I hope to get it dyno'd on Thursday.

First impression, sound. Great at idle with slight throttle gaining a fab crackle. I cannot wait to have these burn in.

2nd impression, seat of the pants power. When I accelerate out from a stop, I stop when the car hits forty mph. I do this from sound from the engine. Now the car is going 45-47 mph!

3rd impression, high end power. 4th gear has much more power than before. 1st and 2nd gear still have lots of power, but 4th seems more potent.

So far, I am totally pleased.

I paid $130 to get them installed. I could not have done these myself. The o2 sensors were very hard to remove and the bolts at the headers/cats were very hard to access.

Sounds good I'm wondering about getting the Bassani X-pipe w/high flow cats/mufflers. Any chance of a soundclip?

I will take a tape recorder with me on my dyno session, Friday at 9am. Then I will try to get it uploaded to a web page. I have Bassani comp cat, x-pipe, and axelbacks.

Well as you can see in my sig, I have the same bassani set up. Yes it is awesome sound. I have not done any tuning yet tho. I am still not confirmed on which CAI I am going to get. Plust to get the full potential fo the bassani full system, you will definitely need dyno time, and custom tuning done. I also have no CEL's at all with no tune or CAI. So it seems the quality is definitely there. Congrats on your purchase.

I plan on getting full a/f info with my pulls, and adjust my c&l tune accordingly with my predator. The c & l tune is pretty good but if you want to adjust rev limits you can only use revision 12 or before. I have a copy on disc. I drive with revison 16 but If I go back to the track I will load up R12 so I can raise my rev limiter.

38special, could you maybe record the sound outside too, while driving or revving maybe. I know you said you'll record while dynoing, but you cant REALLY tell how good it sounds with all that noise on the dyno. Pwease??
