I have zero experience installing anything car related, except for the antenna and center caps already on my car. I want to install as much as I can myself on my GT. Is this installation a beginners mod? I already have the axlebacks, but I'm not sure what tools I need. I am going to buy the rhino ramps so I can install them in my driveway. For those who know, what other tools/equipment do I need for the installation?

Well I didnt do it myself, but it seemed pretty straightforward. If you are doing axlebacks only, should just be two clamps, and using a screwdriver to get the hangers out of the rubber exhaust isolators. I dont think your going to have a problem, just make sure the tips are even before tightening down. Good luck

Make sure you line up the hanger bushings in exactly the same direction when you take the stock mufflers off. There is also one bolt above the muffler that is a little hard to get to. Let the car cool off b4 trying this also.

Overall it's a very easy install. There are four bolts holding each of the mufflers on in addition to the clamps that hold the mufllers to the over axle pipes. You don't even really need ramps to do this install. I did it with the car just parked flat on the ground. Just losten the clamps that hold the stock mufflers on and remove the stock mufflers by taking the four bolts out that hold in the apparatus that hangs the mufflers. Then slide the new mufflers into the muffler hanging apparatus and bolt them back on. There is a bolt or two that can be tough to get to but is not a big problem using a ratchet or open end box wrench. The hardest part is making sure the tips line up coming out the back of the car. This sometimes takes some fiddleing with to get it the way you want it. Hope that helps.
