I don't know much about the power gains from the LT headers, but if you wanna keep it street legal I'd go with underdrive pulleys, electric water pump and maybe gears. I see you already plan to get an H pipe and mufflers, which is also a good idea.

JLTII and a BamaChips tune will net you at least 25RWHP - this isn't fluff - it's been proven time and again. After that, 4.10 gears minimum will turn the car into a whole 'nother beast.

Do the gears kill the mileage on a daily driver? I heard the gears wake up the car, but I am concerned about the daily driving.

This is the truth. There are a lot who say it's cheating or it's dangerous but so is a not-properly tuned supercharger or turbo setup. In the long run the nitrous is expensive, but dollar for dollar it's hard to beat, easy to get into with a basic setup and only there when you need it (if that bottle is full).I drove around for a year and a half in my other car with a nitrous kit and used 4 bottles... I had no reason to use it other than an occasional race on the way home and at the track... the turbo setup I had was way more expensive....I installed my kit, i'm just waiting for some troubleshooting help some weekend to get it working 100% and then fill the bottle and give it a try.

Pulleys + water pump should add around 15 rwhp. I too agree with Don on the nitrous, but I don't know how often JebusGT plans to go to the track. It might be worth the investment, but not on a daily driver.

heh yea, gonna get CAI first, dont know if i wanna go with nitrous, ill take it on the track every once in awhile soon, but still wanna keep it alittle bit of a daily driver for a short time until i can get a beater... lol mainly just looking to get some good hp to help with my friends modded evo, and others s/c RSX

I'm in the same boat. I have done intake, tune and pullies and this greatly improved performance.
I am now thinking 4.10 gears but not sure for the bang for the buck part of it.
Is there any HP improvement or ET reduction to be made with an off road X/H pipe?

I originally thought the 1-piece Alum Driveshaft was about is good as anything else for performance/$$ (about same price as CAI+tuner package). But I haven't seen much talk about them lately.

Personally, I wouldn't put the aluminum driveshaft on the top of the mod list... and certainly not before a CAI/Tune combo (and other things). My 2 cents on the driveshaft swap is that someone would need to be a regular at the dragstrip before it was worth the money. And maybe not even then, unless they had some sort of power adder (or was a really hardcore NA drag racer). I know some people may disagree here, but that's my take.

If anyone disagrees with someone who's gone through an extra $30k on their car is nuts.

I know that Dario Orlando (Steeda) recommends the first mod to these cars be a new wheel and tire combo.
This may not be the answer you are looking for here, but I firmly believe a good suspension setup makes the car much more fun to drive, and gets the power you have to the pavement better (thereby making your car feel stronger). Plus, a complete setup can be easily had for under $2k.
