I just picked up a Steeda CAI and a Steeda High flow intake elbow as well as 255/45-18 tires up front and 295/45-18 rear.

I got a tuner and 87P/91P/100R tunes from him a few months ago so I'm set for loading it or modifying something with the tuner, just need some instruction.

I was curious;

1. Can I adjust the tire size myself without a reflash?

2. Does Doug modify a tune for simple stuff or do I need to buy a new tune? (i.e. my tire/rim change and CAI + elbow)

3. Can we clone Doug a few times and place him strategically around the country?

I emailed him off bamachips website but I guess he's busy and hasn't gotten back to me yet.

I'm excited to install the CAI but I know it requires a tune change of some sort.

You can adjust the tire revs per mile as one of many user adjustable optional parameters before you reflash (yes you'll have to reflash for every adjustment)

Doug is your man!
tire/rim change is something you can tweak yourself with Doug's tunes.. however changing a CAI is a bit more complex and could require an updated tune.

not to forget, a few clones for international destinations

Doug is a busy man, but he's always came through.. call him, you might get a faster response.

Which CAI have you got?

 

Yeah call him, he was having email problems months ago, and while thats sorted out im sure, he's very busy. Give him a call, if you cant get him you'll def get a callback.

I got them last night and loaded them onto the sct and tonight I'll flash the car and install the parts.
