I have been running the performance tune. I ran both at the track the week I got it and ran a half a second quicker on the two tunes over stock. Both were neck and neck, .007 seconds difference in times.

The car has barked second and third since installed with the stock tires and with 255/45/18, not so much now that we are running the 285's in the back.

and for some reason it takes a lot longer to shift...only noticed this with the perf. tune. Ill try and see if the torq tune takes as long

I run the 91 torque tune, I can bark the tires quite good between 1st and 2nd with 255/45 tires. I breifly tried the 93 perf. tune but did not notice much difference. I'm planning on going to the track next month and will try the different tunes then.

I preferred the torq tune, but it wasn't measurable at the track. It just felt better. And with the 4.10s on 275/50-17 Nittos, I could break loose sideway on the 1-2 shift, and bark the 2-3 shift.

I have 275's in the rear and get a nice bark and a little side step when it hits second, third can also give a tiny chirp but not a lot and not all of the time.

I've only run the torque tune, but it's a complete kick. Gas Milage dumped, but I suspect that that has to do with constand depression of the tall skinny pedal on the right. It just loves to be stomped.

Next mods will be ford racing handling kit unless someone can come up 25+ ponies for around 1000 pluss or minus. NOT NITROUS.

I have had my JLT and tune from bama for little over a week, first tank I ran the 87 tune, and now I am on my second tank of 93, I have run both the tourqe and the perf tunes. In town I like the tourqe better, but since 90% of my driving is interstate I have been using the perf tune, it just feels a lot better at higher rpms.

Car is a manual

I don't have the JLT, but K&N.
I prefer the torque tune when driving around town, and with the auto as long as I floor it and keep it floored it chirps 2nd and 3rd everytime usually (with either tune 93oct)

93 Torque. Much more fun to drive in the streets of NYC (a little hard on the gluteous maximus though). On track, I plan to use 93 perf.

How much different is the 87 tune vs the 93?

You can tell a seat of the pants differenece btw the 87 and the 93. Car seems to have a lot more torque with both 93 tunes then with the 87. I am back on the 87 tune though cause gas prices are so high right now.
